Eccoci ad una nuova lotteria, un modo simpatico per festeggiare la conclusione dell'estate e l'imminente inizio dell'autunno (ma arriverà mai, mi chiedo?). Questa volta la dedichiamo a Nora Layla Berg, nativa di Besaid con una vita problematica ed un passato non facile alle spalle. Ma a caratterizzare maggiormente questa giovane donna è la Tecnopatia, la capacità di entrare in contatto con sistemi tecnologici come computer, robot, hardware o altri sistemi e di manipolarli, anche tramite un'interfaccia mentale, senza il bisogno di entrare in contatto fisico diretto con loro. Questo suo legame con la tecnologia l'ha sempre portata ad avere problemi nel rapportarsi con le persone senza l'ausilio di computer o altri apparecchi che possano in qualche modo nasconderla e confortarla. Rimanere troppo in contatto con essa sfruttando la sua abilità le provoca severi mal di testa che possono portarla anche alla perdita di conoscenza. Teme che un giorno, se continuerà a fare quello che fa, potrebbe rimanere intrappolata per sempre in quel mondo che tanto ama, ma la cosa non la preoccupa molto, non ha mai imparato a vivere davvero nel mondo reale ed a sentirlo suo.
